Ezra Crary, b 7/30/1737 in Voluntown Ct. m 12/29/1756 in
Voluntown Ct. Dorothy Randall b 6/5/1741 daughter of Nathan
Randall & Eleanor Cottrell. He was made a Freeman in Voluntown
on April 13, 1767. He was a very industrious farmer & local
Methodist preacher. Ezra was deputy in the General Assembly of
CT from Voluntown in May 1776 which voted at opening of the
American Revolution to raise troops and furnish them with
